Coming from somebody who only uses narrative based arguments because you don’t have a single fact on your side that’s a pretty hypocritical statement.

I really don’t think Wade wants to come back and work for the same administration that fired him.

Wade would come back if offered. No doubt.

Personally I doubt it. But I don’t know wade personally. People don’t have a tendency to return to employers they feel have fired them unjustly. Unless he feels they were justified.

Yes he would come back.

He also held the team together through the shooting death of Wayde Sims. This team has always been tight under his leadership and to suggest otherwise is lunacy. He also is from the Pearl coaching tree which is highly regarded for X’s and O’s.

I have a hard time seeing fat Scott bending the knee and apologizing unless our biggest money boosters force him.

amazing team after inheriting zero players, zero recruits, and a LOA a few months before last year started???

Actually dumbass MM has recruited really well. Easily well enough to be relevant/not a dunpster fire. And we still suck balls.

The frustrating thing is that it really doesn't take much to keep the fanbase happy. A good coach that has us at least competing for a spot in the tournament is enough to keep fans happy and asses in seats. No one is expecting a coach to have us competing for the final four every year. But despite those low expectations, McMahon has found a way to fall short in every single aspect

That is the worst part is the bar wasn’t high and Matt still can’t get over it.

Sucks so hard having a shitty basketball team with a shitty coach. Last night I watched highlights of the 2019 Tennessee game. One of the best crowds ever at the PMAC.

Woody is a politician. He listens to what the Media and the NCAA tells him.

That's what I think many of the "defenders" aren't grasping. It's not that McMahon hasn't won at the same level as Wade in 1.5 seasons. It's that he entered last season with the lowest expectations in 6-7 years and managed to fall woefully short of those. This season the expectations again weren't terribly high. Just show marginal improvement from last season. Thus far that doesn't look to be the case. In fact, just about all of the predictive data points have this season trending to be worse than last year.

At some point objective data overrides subjective, largely baseless, "hope"/optimism. That doesn't make for a fun, happy discourse. But that is the reality

That's what the problem is.
No one is saying he has to win the SEC this year like Wade did.
No one was saying he had to make the tourney last year. We all understand the challenges he had last year.
If he had won 5 or 6 games, it would have still been dissappointing, but i get it, and if the team was playing hard and still losing, then i could accept that, but that team gave up.

and now we enter this year and all the expectation needed to be was to hopefully get close to .500 basketball in the SEC, and that seems extremely unlikely at this point.

It's perfectly said, the bar isn't being set high for McMahon, yet he's not coming close to reaching it much less getting over it.

Skyler Mays had his best seasons under Wade’s coaching. Mays looked really bad under JJ. Outside of Mays, I can’t recall any other good players Wade inherited from Johnny Jones.

Wait. Mayes got better and better and played his best basketball as he got older? Crazy.

It’s crazy we have an AD that looks at the entire university as a whole. Making moves to protect the university. Got to love it.

It’s weird that an Arkansas fan is so concerned about LSU. The rent is cheap in your head.
