Sadly that's the 1st thing that popped in my head when I read OP's thread. Gonna call folks idiots and can't tell the difference between you're and your. I wouldn't think anything of it other than he wrapped it around calling folks idiots.

The hate had all but disappeared since the last game. We know all the haters are just Wade fan boys, so they have been resorting to bumping old wish casting threads about Wade getting no punishment until you started this thread.

Just let them wither away. They aren't LSU fans and will inevitably pop up again after the next loss. We can finally get rid of them when Wade gets his multiple year show cause.

I don’t know why I’m doing this, because watching you post every day makes me want to find the nearest bridge and jump.

But I can guarantee you that one win against a team that is the definition of average does not change the worst 2 month stretch in LSU basketball history. I hope they build off of the win, but that win changes nothing other than puts an end to a pathetic losing streak. I am rooting for McMahon and hope he has tons of success, but to call people critiquing him “only haters” is fricking laughable.

You sure about that chief? I’d bet he’s coaching next year at a D-1 school

Ohio State had the #7 class and they’re 11-17….what’s your point? Unless you have elite lottery players, you’re not gonna turn around a roster turnover that quick with a bunch of mid major and power 5 bench players.

Maybe I should start some threads then.

Hyperbole aside, I never said that the win changed much. Just that the haters stopped posting as much. Of course this thread drew you in like flies.

The folks that you label "Haters" are the true fans who had hoped to see LSU compete for a national championship in their lifetime, rather than be a perennial bottom half of the league team.
Sorry that you have lower expectations.

The jury is out. No one knows. But SEC win # 3 tonight sets us up for a little run late.

The guy's first year and he inherited a team that had no good players basically.

Just stop with this bullshite. He inherited

Mwani Wilkinson - 3 year starter, 4 star highly recruited. Played in 3 NCAA Tournaments

Justice Williams - played significant minutes for a NCAA Tournament LSU team last. 4 star highly recruited

Adam Miller - transfer portal 3 star that several legit teams were trying to sign when he hit the TP

It is arguable that Coach Kelly inherited a worse beginning roster than McMahon yet no one has any minuscule issue with rating CBK after year 1.

He also had the opportunity to recruit kids living on LSUs campus and already played one year for the Tigers. He couldn’t sell them on STAYING.

Sorry you thought that Will Wade was the coach who could do that. Hell, you guys thought we were knocking on the door of the Final Four this year under Wade.

SEC win #3 tonight

Not likely. Ole Miss has been losing, a lot of games in fact, but unlike LSU they've competed in nearly all of them. They led Auburn for much of their game Wednesday night.

Look for the Black Bears (Land Sharks?) to be fired up tonight after the dismissal of Davis.

He was a 2 year starter who only split starts based on matches his first year. Only in 2 NCAA tourneys. Not a major factor either year.

He played ok minutes when Pinson was hurt. Barely played otherwise.

Adam Miller - transfer portal 3 star that several legit teams were trying to sign when he hit the TP
He is coming off an injury and has had a down year scoring wise.

BTW, all 3 were in the portal and had to be recruited back. So none were "inherited".

Wade was a winner at LSU.

McMahon is a loser at LSU so far.

Those are the facts.

There is no love or hate in this post for a particular person.

There is love for winning and hate for losing.

Down year because of injury OR because LSUs offensive scheme is atrocious? Miller didn’t lose his shot motion. It’s there. He just can’t get an open shot to save his life and I think affecting confidence. Somehow you have to scheme him into a couple early mid range buckets. Run him off a couple screens and hit him with a pass while he is in position to rise up. The kid can shoot. LSU just has to put him in good opportunities to be successful. They don’t.

So the question is—Could WW have gotten more out of Miller than MM? I’m not a big WW fan. He lost me mid-season last year when the schtick with the refs got old. But WW would have gotten more out of this lineup than MM.

So someone please tell me who the consistent outside shooter is for this team and who the SEC caliber PG is for this team. Because without either you aren't winning squat in the SEC. And enough with your 'that's the players he brought with him" because he did what he could with the time he had. If Miller just shoots better they win 5-6 more games. Same if we had an SEC PG. So yeah he gets 2 more years to turn it around but he isn't missing the open 3's. he isn't missing the shots at the goal. He isn't making the stupid turnovers at critical times. The only criticism I agreed with is he should have played the freshmen earlier but at least he finally got to that and the team has gotten better because of it. Let's see what happens tonight but if he can win the last 2 games that would bode well for next year and recruiting. And if they beat FL then we need to pack the PMAC for the last home game. Will help with keeping some of these guys and recruiting.

Way too early to pull the plug. He was dealt the worst hand in college basketball. Time will tell
