The Grove is Trashy

bunch of insurance agents and lumber salesmen who think they're Rhett Butler. And Uptown New Orleanians who wanted to leave the state but weren't smart enough to get in to Suwanee or College of Charleston.

Its spelled Sewanee, and we are a proud founding member of the SEC (it's our claim to fame).
And, yes, I knew a couple Uptown bluebloods that were rejected from Sewanee, only to attend Ole Miss.
One called Ole Miss the Harvard of the south to my face. Lol

I was at the Bama Ole Miss game when Bo Wallace and the rebs beat Saban and Buckner Courso tore down the goal posts and paraded it through the square. Ole Miss folks have an inflated opinion of themselves but I wouldn’t say they’re trashy

That they do. They also eat store-bought chicken tenders on fancy china.
It's laughable when you think about it, but it's their claim to fame. I remember my first trip to Oxford. I was expecting some huge grove of oak trees or at least something on par with LSU. It was a disappointment to say the least. The Grove itself is not very big and they jam pack it full of tents with bougie tailgating set ups.

My problem with the grove is you can’t even move and not welcome as an LSU fan.

We're not comparing The Grove to the city of Baton Rouge.
And just FYI, there are some not so nice parts of Oxford where I wouldn't want to be caught after dark. Stray too far from the square and the city starts to look a little different.

Never heard anyone who has visited The Grove regularly trashy. I don't like Ole Miss fans but it's anything but trashy there. I would argue it's one of the nicer venues in the SEC I've visited.
