Now, let's analyze what's been working for us.

NOT A GOD DAMN THING'S been working for us. Like this goddamn suit doesn't work for me... and this stinking tie... and this goddamned shirt. IT DOESN'T WORK FOR ME. YOU KNOW HOW TO PLAY WINNING HARD-NOSED FOOTBALL? YOU PLAY FOOTBALL LIKE ED GENERRO PLAYED FOOTBALL. A guy who gave his life for this football team. He was a 140-pound halfback, and HE PLAYED LIKE A GODDAMN WILDMAN! NO! LIKE A GODDAMN RAMPAGING BEAST! And that's the way you got to do it! YOU GO OUT THERE! YOU TEAR THEIR frickING HEADS OFF, AND YOU shite DOWN THEIR NECKS! Let us pray.

They are really good at not wearing home run fur coats.

If Tommy had chosen Tennessee instead of LSU, would he look like Chewbacca when he hit a home run?

Strikeouts by pitchers.

Out of 305 D1 teams, only Arkansas has more team strikeouts.

Also, gold chains.

They do love wearing their gold jewelry. Unfortunately, I don't have any data on how their jewelry ranks among other teams.

Our jersey’s look good and stay clean.

Haven’t thought of it this way. Saving the equipment managers some time by not sliding on the basepath

Getting leads early in the game.

And then blowing them towards the end.

Well, for starters, if the opposing team gets runners on base, esp with 2 outs, you can count on the pitcher to give up a BIG hit-- esp if the game is still in the balance.

LSU baseball smells.

They are good at standing on bases and watching the next 2 or 3 outs

The only three major stats that Tigers are in the top half of SEC in SEC games are

Pitching strikeouts 5th

Hitting home runs 7th

Fielding % 7th (believe it or not)

That is it. 11th or worse in most other stats.

False, we are also leading the league in double plays hit into, by quite a wide margin

Durability. I think that the most remarkable thing about this team’s underwhelming performance is that there have been almost no (publicly disclosed) injuries this year. Aside from Noot and Shores recovering from last years injuries, Frey with a shoulder dislocation and possibly Kade Woods dealing with injury, they are this bad with everyone at their disposal.

That's what's so incredible to me. There is no excuse. We just aren't that good this year. Honestly, everyone should have expected this with the amount of talent we lost from last year. Not only Crews and Skenes, Jobert, Dugas, Beloso, I could go on but you get the point. We lost a ton of talent from last year. This should have been expected.
