What a colossal failure. Ranked #6 and get beat out by #42, unranked Arkansas, #31, #19, #42, #30, and #18 teams.

All the teams LSU was chasing for the last spot shot about even on average for those 3 holes except Arkansas who was + 5. Those 3 holes were the difference maker. Had they shot +1 instead of +7, they would have advanced.

I don't even play golf and understand the parity in college golf.
the program is going to win another national title with Amos at some point.

He gets a pass for this putrid performance at regionals year 1, but the pressure ramps up considerably if they lay an egg again next year as a 1 seed.
This is not far removed from a 1 seed in basketball losing in the first round.
