It’s great to have speed and potential..the hard part is doing it on the field and executing it. lSU always has freak athletes but since 2019 how many of these freaks excelled in their 1st year on the team!
JD5/Burrow year 2, BTJ year 3, Malik Yr3, lsu in general does not have year 1 breakout players even when they are 5 Star studs. OSU/Bama does it year but LSU can’t seem to get year 1 guys to excel. Is it coaching, scheme, development etc.

Well only one can return kicks and you're better off having 10 blockers than 9 with 2 returners. It's like the concept of lining up Guice and Fournette in the same backfield - sounds better in theory than it actually is

How many of them can play O- line?

We are loaded at both.

Well yeah, there’s only one ball, but there will always be 2 deep on kickoffs (unless we’re expecting an onside kick).

They aren’t paying him that amount to come to LSU just to sit the bench. You are crazy if you think Brown won’t be one of the 3 WR on the field lol.

quote:do you even LSU follow football? He’s already parked at number two on the depth chart. LSU does rotate receivers in and out depending on situations. that was just a complete idiotic statement.
Not sure he sees the field

Yeah OL is young, real young, but should be talented and deep.

the fastest player in the nation Barion Brown is gonna be a PROBLEM
Highlights, of course, are curated to show a player at his best... That being said, I was not at all familiar with Brown's game and I really enjoyed watching those highlights.
His speed really jumps out, but on some of the plays I was also impressed by his timing and ability to adjust to make catches-- sometimes contested. He has a nice, aggressive quality to his play.
It's never a given that players will successfully mesh with their new team and take the next step in their development, but Brown appears to have the talent to become an impact player.
Here's to hope!

supposedly he runs a 4.34, which is the exact time Trindon Holiday ran back in the day. Granted, Brown's 40 likely wasn't laser timed and 4.34 isn't breaking records at the combine... but it's still MOVIN

I hope our ST coach, whoever that is, can give him some lanes to run in. This kid is as quick as a cat.
