When we beat Bama

This is when I felt like we were easily the best team in the country, with the best shot to win it all, but my sphincter would tighten up every Saturday knowing that there’s always a possibility that one of those Top Ten teams could upset us.

I started to feel it after the Florida game but halftime of the Bama game solidified it for me.

Like a bunch of others have said, it was after the Bama game. We should have won by even more. I knew after that we wouldn't lose a game the rest of the way.

After Auburn, I thought they had the best defensive line we would see all season.

I knew they'd win it all when the referees wouldn't call holding on the LSU Oline when they played Auburn. No other team came close to the pressure that Auburn brought.

Edit: And when Tua dropped the ball without being touched inside the redzone.

Could: After the first drive against Georgia Southern seeing guys running wide arse open

Would: Probably not until LSU went up 28-17 vs Clemson

I had a 25-1 futures bet from before the season and a 22-1 one after Georgia Southern so I believed

I believe this was the exact moment. This put them ahead 33-13 at halftime.

Same here.

Alabama had obviously lost games before the 2019 season. But that was probably the first time in over a decade where that stadium and team was stunned watching an opponent come in and dominate. A stunning three play flurry that sent the opponent to the mat dazed and confused (TD, INT, TD). Of course, the game got much, much closer in the 2nd half. But that was the first time I knew this was the best LSU team I had ever watched.

Yeah, that was a surreal moment. I was sitting in the endzone where those last 2 TDs of the half happened. It was like I had goosebumps and my ears were ringing - just complete, actual disbelief.

I knew that team was “Different” on the first drive of the first game.

Texas: showed the had the fight/attitude/scheme to close out games

Alabama: was the moment I knew they were the absolute best

Everything after that was just lagniappe on top of what I knew

4 and 17 convinced me. By the Bama game, I 100% went into that game expecting to win.

The bama win, that's when I knew this team had it to go all the way.

Something about that Texas game told me how special the team would be offensively. I KNEW we were going the whole way after Alabama.

After 3rd and 17 I realized that the season was going to be really fun.

It wasn't until we managed to hold of Auburn that I legit thought we had a chance to win the Natty. We had to win a hard fought defensive struggle and managed to do so.

At Texas when BDJ gave the bye bye wave to the Texas crowd I knew we was dealing with one of the coldest people of all time

First offensive drive of the Bama game. When we scored with ease in like 4 plays, I knew everything had changed for real.

At the end of the Ole Miss game. Weird, I know. But I sat there waiting to lose that game the entire 2nd half and we just kept scoring and scoring. Our defense was befuddled with Plumlee but we outscored them.
I knew then, for sure, we could win a shootout if the D had a bad night and with Joe no one was going to beat us. The Helaire TD to end the 1st half at Bama was the confirmation.

after beating Texas. Didn't think a team would beat us after that 3rd & 17. It was our coming out party

When Queen intercepted Tua and Clyde scored on the next play to make it 33-13. I figured LSU had about an 80% chance at the natty at that point.
