Just watch the games man. Arch hasn’t been great by any means, but mateer has been awful.

Oklahoma’s defense is arguably better than Texas’
The difference is arch is actually managing the game (and his receivers are dropping balls that get picked) and mateer is losing games for his team. To be fair, his run game is worse than Texas, but he’s still been awful.

Arch is merely an ok QB that seems to be the weak link of an other stacked/championship-caliber team.
Mateer is actively hurting his team with his ineffectiveness.

I'm not justifying anything but Mateer does have two fumbles which makes him have double the amount of turnovers as Arch.
And he is in charge of an offense that objectively looks like arse.
