Last year after Clemson, BK got upset over Dabo saying both teams were bad. Then proceeds to call everyone spoiled.

Lane goes out scores more in a half than our team could score against any fbs school last year and is upset it’s not 38-0 because of a bad series. Then upset we allowed a garbage TD.

The attention to detail and having an engaged coach that is leading from the front makes a massive difference.

I suspect we will notice similar things in a few months when the general takes the floor.

the thing that got me is how much better our offensive and defensive lines looked compared to week 1 last year.

No doubt. Have to control the LOS to move the ball with pace or get pressure. He knows the coaches he needs to teach that strength

Having a real strength program that is aligned with everything we do helped that a lot.

BK said alignment but it’s clear he didn’t know the real meaning of that or delegation.

Lane delegates things but he is around and aware and he is dictating strategy and everything.

I think objectively, we're all happy about the results, but it could have and probably should have been so much worse for Clemson. Not harping or even bitching about the performance, but there are alot of very simple things that need to be cleaned up in the passing game. IF the passing game would have been on point, LSU could have named the score against Clemson last night.

I rewatched the game, just an amazing change. You can say, well, it was a down Clemson, but there has been a complete change in the maturation process. This team played smart, DE’ and Dbacks, held the edge, even stopped their rushes when they felt TE’s leaking out, or rb’s going to the flats. It wasn’t just physical dominance, it was mental dominance, assignment football and that gets me even more excited.

And $40 million.

I mean, they brought in some studs.

To some extent they did name the score. Had they not put in the 2s and 3s in the fourth quarter they could have had a higher score.

It wasn’t a perfect game and Lane even alluded to it. The first series started bad, we had some drops that shouldn’t happen. The first and second D was damn near flawless, but the 3rd string guys weren’t.

Biggest difference I noticed was their organization of the offense.. no pre-snap penalties or burned timeouts like we had every fricking game last year.
