I can't recall the reliever for OSU(#32 maybe) but the 3b bleacher fans were giving him the business like I've NEVER seen. He couldn't even focus to warmup and said something to the coach like "just put me in" and he ran on out to the bump

And they want to move the bullpen behind a wall. Smh

I don't wanna make this an "Alex Box sucks because" thread. But I love where the bullpens are as a fan on the front row of Left Field.

Had a SRO ticket and thanks to the rain delay got to watch the whole rest of the game 6 rows up behind home plate once game resumed. First time sitting in that area and it felt so much louder. Loudest I’ve ever heard it and if not for the rain delay would’ve had thousands more there too. Was also my first postseason game at the Box which surely played into it. Really great experience tonight!

Agree from what I could tell on TV the Alex Box crowd was really into it. After our game I tuned in to the Gators elimination game against Tex Tech- while the stands looked pretty full and it was obviously a big game- they sounded quite reserved/muffled in comparison to the Box last night.

Yea Clemson was playing rocky top and charlottes fight song.

I’d rather LSU play both than nothing.

Haven’t heard the crowd that involved in the game since the old Alex Box! It no doubt made the difference in the outcome!

That’s why I don’t know if going to enclosed pen is good. Especially in the old box, the 3rd base fans would be relentless and you could actually see a confident kid lose it. That crowd last night was everything a regional at lsu is suppose to be and why hosting at the box is so important.

The back to back home runs really has the place jumpin'. It was an awesome time at the Box for certain!

It sounded like it took them 4 innings of Hurd for them to realize what he was doing

Radio broadcast was the same an exciting, suspenseful game.

Like an old time radio broadcast of pro baseball before TV. Edge of your seat excitement type quality.

Todays 1:00 game is obviously huge. The multiple rain delays were a shame because this game could have either been played on Sunday or tonight with similarly involved crowds. I’m sure it will be hard recreating last nights atmosphere on an early Monday afternoon.

yep, place was rocking even if it wasn't at capacity. fans love the long ball.

in contrast, we could literally here crickets during the night game.

It as more like 4 inning of trying to figure out what the ump was going to call a strike

One of the funnest games I’ve ever been to and after the rain delay the stadium was maybe 3/4’s full but most of them were full of alcohol.

Re the Beaver's bullpen & the pitcher's reaction, at The Old Box bama had a reliever almost a clone of Jethro on The Beverly Hillbillies. Every time he got up to warm up, he was serenaded by the entire left field crowd the theme song from the show. He finally told the coach, lip reading loud & clear, "frick it. come get me in the dugout".
