So it will come down to whether LSU's resume out-weighs OSU's consistency. And I think that's possible and probable. We'll see - but to go the conspiracy route and say it's a plot to keep OSU at #1 - get out of here with that crap.

You are naive. It is about TV money.

Just how is consistency defined in this context? Oh...there is no such definition. I see. It's a bunch of arbitrary crap to generate the most money.

So a 12-0 team that averages 4-pt score differential vs a 12-0 team that averages 30-pt score differential with VERY SIMILAR schedules are equal to you?

Just stop. We know you agree with the committee and secretly love Ohio State. But, stop.

You profile shows that you average 2.87 posts per day.

Youve obliterated that today over a topics defending LSU(of who you have a flattering avatar of) over Ohio State.

You can come clean, baw. We wont hold it against you if you want to flip your fandom to the new #1, THE Ohio State University.

The problem is dropping 1 spot after losing to a G5 by 10. Meanwhile Alabama drops 7 spots for losing to ranked P5 by 3. Michigan getting beat for the 3rd time only dropped 1 spot. The bias is glaringly obvious. That's why some have a problem.

People have a problem with only dropping them 1 spot after losing to Memphis more than they do with Cincy's actual #20 ranking.

Usually, to only drop 1 spot you have to lose a heartbreaker to the #1 team or something.

Unless youre LSU.

Then you can drop for actually winning.

conspiracy is due to how Michigan Wisky and Penn State are ranked. They said Auburn is ahead of Bama because of the head to head, even though Auburn lost 3 games to Bamas two games ..........well how the frick is Minnesota ranked 18th....they have same amount of losses as Penn State, but they BEAT Penn State in head to head yet they are ranked 8 spots below them??

Wisconsin ahead of Florida and Bama? For real? Same amount of loses, 2, yet Florida has lost to #2 and #4 ranked teams and Bama to #2 and #11.....does Wisky loss to Illinois (who is 6-6 and lost to E. Michigan and Northwestern who is 3-9) not mean anything?

And dont even get me started on Michigan, getting blown the frick out at home while also almost losing to Army at home, complete trash and overrated just because they are Michigan. Rarely ever win big games for past several years under JH.

I would love to hear a legitimate argument to justify the rankings of Wisky, PSU and Michigan vs that of Florida and Bama.

Why pick on Cincinatti?
The joke was Penn State ever being ranked in the top 4 and being ranked in the top 10 now and Michigan still being ranked in the top 15. I'd take Cincinatti and Memphis over either of those teams.

The Cincinnati situationResume outweighs consistency, and let’s not act like Ohio St. has been much more consistent than LSU, they haven’t done that if at all

What???? Beating everyone by double digits and being ranked #1 in total offense and defense is not being consistent. You got to be kidding me.

When did I ever say Ohio St. wasn’t consistent? Didn’t once mention that in my post.

ehhh not always. A&M has lost to #2, #3, #4, #11, and #12 I think. That is ridiculous Cincinnati would get annihilated by all of those teams. A&M at least kept it close with a few.

A&M also hasn't beaten a team that has a winning record....think about that. & teams with loosing records. As far as G5 schools go I'd say UCF has been pretty good the last 2 years wouldn't you. Unbeaten 2 years ago and a win against a good SEC team and last year with the 8 pt. loss in the bowl game.

I watched Michigan throw the ball all over Ohio State. That was with bad wrs that dropped a LOT of passes, and a QB who made some bonehead plays. Lsu is loaded at wr, and burrow is a little bit better than Shay Patterson. Ohio St hasn't really faced a decent offense all year. Stats on defense are inflated. Lsu will expose them if they meet.

Dude...cinnci played a pathetic schedule. Pathetic. They beat 4-8 south fl by 3, best 4-8 east Carolina by 3, and mighty Temple by 2. Lol. They haven't beaten a top 50 team this year. They got smashed when they played good teams. A&m gave Georgia hell, played Clemson competitive, and auburn. They would boatrace cinnci.

like Texas is now

A win over a 7-5 Texas team and a 7-5 A&M team (which played the most difficult schedule in the nation) are pretty impressive in themselves.

No one cares about Cincinnati.

The 1st half Shea Patterson was on fire and 14-18. Shaun Wade, their bullet (hybrid safety-linebacker) didn't play and it caused them all sorts of problems.. In the 2nd half adjustments were made and Patterson was 4-25 passing. 5 of those were catchable drops.. So, 18-43 passing stats for the game with 5 drops making it 18-38... and only 55 yds. passing in the 2nd half... To me that's pretty impressive.
