Which is why your success shouldn't He dependent on assistants. With a good head coach assistants should be interchangeable (to an extent)

The Canada misfire

It's not "the Canada misfire," no matter what some Ranters want to think. If CEO hired a guy to run his offense and be left alone to make it work, that's what CEO needs to do. It's why he got the freakin' full time job.

All these leaks indicate CEO is not doing this. If this is the case, LSU indeed may not win another game. Orgeron will make Miles' fingerprints on an offense look like Bill Walsh's by comparison.

O is definitely not a dumb arse. To think so is to underestimate him. In the non football world Ed Orgeron is a salesman. He might be the best salesman at your company. He also sits back and criticizes everything operations & engineering does because he thinks he can do it better. When he gets promoted to run ops & engineering he fails every time. Why? Because he has no respect for it and doesn't believe it's real work. To him sales is real work. That's Ed Orgeron. Part con-man, part motivational speaker and full time arrogant.

Even IF he does that being "hands off" doesn't automatically mean a successful, driven person, Canada in this case, will be successful and driven. It takes a leader, a plan, a vision to mold that person's success. Success doesn't happen because a smart person, or a qualified person, or whatever you want to call them, has freedom. It happens because "something" else allows and supports that success to happen.

That's hippy dippy success stuff, but I'd be hesitant to believe that leaving Canada alone is the solution to the problem either.

The problem is O, even if he is hands off, does he look like the kind of person you would look up to? The kind of person that inspires confidence in decision making, in supporting success?

Is this the same offense that Canada ran at Pitt? I haven't watched much of their games from last year...just the Clemson game.

Pitt may have dedicated players who were willing to put in extra time to make it work.

Wasn't Canada fired at NC State?

Canada was hired by tigerdroppings. You can go back and look, Canada wasn't on the radar until ppl started talking about him here. O and Ponamsky are running this program by reading this website.

No. But for some reason O supporters neglect to bring up leadership qualities.

You can see the play calls are different when DE is in and Myles is in.

Probably because each quarterback has their own set of specific skills geared to certain plays.

Our lines are getting demolished.

I didn't want O and don't think he is a good coach, but the coaches can't go out there and do the blocking, tackling, rushing.

Yes, because Troy, Syracuse, BYU, and Chattanooga are all in the SEC now

I've said O strikes me as an untrustworthy or slimy person from the get go. He just comes off the wrong way for me.

I COULD be wrong, impressions and stuff, but his mannerisms, how he talks, all very insincere.
