The blame for this loss is on the defense and the coaching staff.

How anyone blames Daniels is beyond me…
We couldn’t stop them at all in the 2nd half and if #14 for them didn’t have 2 drops we wouldn’t have stopped them much in the first half.
We were getting consistent pressure early rushing 4 or 5 and then we would rush 3 and give up a big play.
Our offensive line had no answers, provided no room for the RBs yet we still kept running up the middle…so frustrating on all fronts….
Bottom line we got beat by a better team.
The biggest question is is Fla St that good or are we that bad?

I don’t disagree you can put this on the defense and coaching staff. I also would say that Lacy and Thomas really killed this team with those 4 crucial drops.

Something that’s getting overlooked by some I think. On the second 4th down conversion, you kick that field goal 10 times outta 10. That was boneheaded.

I don’t blame daniels for playing his best it’s just that his best is average qb play and we need stellar qb play to compete in this conference and for championships. It’s not his fault the coaches keep him in there and ask him to be the whole team it’s theirs.

House might need to simplify things. Zone never works at LSU for some reason.

He should just put our best two corners in man with help over the top. Can’t be much worse.

There is a lot of blame. They all share it.

I think FSU WR’s made great plays. Though the DBs were there and didn’t make plays and the WR did.

FSU recievers dropped as many balls as we did. JD completed 54% of his passes. Travis completed 74% of his.
JD is the same QB as he was as a freshman at AZ.
He is no better, he us the same.

Because he is the leader of an offense that had all of 17 points before a garbage time TD. And before you talk about drops, FSU had worse drops on the night.

LSU was 3/13 on third and fourth down attempts and 3/5 in the red zone

FSU was 10/15 on 3rd and 4th down and 4/4 in the red zone

You won’t win many games like that

The defense held FSU to 14 in the 1st half. The offense had multiple drives that came up empty. Almost the entire O returned and was supposed to be the strength of this team. We knew the D with all of the new starters would struggle against a great FSU O and counted on the offense to keep pace.

The D faltered in the second half and the offense didn't score a point until there was under 2 minutes left in a blow out. This team needed the veterans on the O to step up and they didn't.

Well I don't blame Daniels.

I blame the coaches for building the offense around Daniels.

It's on the coaches more than anyone else

Can't give us decent play on 1st and Goal from the 1, blanked on another 4th down play in the redzone, leaving points on the board in a Top 10 match up, and worse of all both sides of the ball actually came out with a worse scheme in the 2nd half. Last year our halftime adjustments got us to Atlanta, last night we got embarrassed from a lack of them. Our qb needs to score touchdowns as well, yards don't matter if you're not kicking field goals.

FSU on third and long was like when we had Joe Burrow. Not a problem; will make it.

Daniels is what he is. All the talk about him improving may have been in comparison to how awful the defense was/is. The fact is that Daniels has never improved and may have even regressed while at LSU. He is an average quarterback at best and not the leader this team needs. There is plenty of blame to go around but this is a quick and easy fix. Time to put Nuss in and see what happens.

The way we went for 4th downs was fool hardy. On one 4th we ran all kind of cross action and then Daniel's ran it for a loss. From the beginning of the first quarter we couldn't move their interior. I don't get lining the qb in the zone read when you've got 8-9 in the box and they can easily read and penetrate. Don't give them time. Put QB under center and run the wedge/dive. Have the running back push him too. Refs don't call that a penalty for some reason
