Best: Florida 2007. Where do you start? LSU rallied for the win, converted 5 4th downs and found a way to stop Tebow.
Worst: Arkansas 2007. The National Championship was on the line. Just awful. The 4th and 10 completion to Peyton Hillis. Never felt worse after a loss like that one.

Best tie- the db catch in the endzone to beat auburn. And this past seasons win over bama. After the game in miles Interview he was classy gave bama an Saban credit then said " don't let anybody kid you it doesn't get any better than this. A quality oponemt in death valley." The camera pans to pp waiving the Lsu flag. It was a memory I will never ever forget. Seeing satan loose in tiger stadium is worth more than riches to me!

That's easy - our two national championships since 2,000

Best in my opinion Tenn 2000 because it was so unexpected especially after coming off the loss to UAB.
Worst UAB!

Best: Georgia in 2003. LSU Football took a GIANT leap forward that game.
Worst: Auburn in 2006. LSU had to play Auburn and the refs that day.

Best -- 2003 UGA or 2007 Va Tech TOSSUP
Worst -- 2005 Tenn. That one hurt worse than any other loss I have experienced.

Best win for me was the 2000 game against the evil from Tuscaloosa.
Worst loss - a toss up between 2006 game against Auburn and the SEC refs and the 2009 game against the gumps and the SEC refs.

Best win: OT win over Tennessee in 2000. Made people stand up and take notice of us nationally for the first time in years. A turning point for the program.
Georgia, 2003 would be a very close second. Established us as NC contenders that year.
Worst loss: Ole Miss, 2009. The clock debacle.
OT loss to Tennessee in 2005 is a close second here. Given the circumstances surrounding that one (i.e., Katrina/Rita, etc.), I don't think I need to say more.

Worst- Bama 08 given hope to have it dashed in a more epic fashion. Or Arky Losing to a 4-7 team on a last second TD that shouldn't have happened.
Best- Alabama 2010 was awesome, as was Florida 2007

some great replies by some great posters, but for the life of me I cannot understand why the loss to UGA in 04 is in NO Ones (but my) list...45-16, we were totally blown out by an SEC opp on national TV and they were not even that great that year, I hate losing ANY game, but the blow outs hurt the worst to me because they hurt the program in the national eyes..
best win, easy for me ANY NC, so OKla and OSU...

Best win was the 2001 SECCG against Tennessee.
Worst loss without a doubt was the 2006 Auburn. Had LSU won that game, LSU would have made 3 straight trips to the SECCG (05, 06, 07) and quite possibly could have had two SEC titles and two national titles back to back.

For me they both occurred in 2002:
Best: 36-7 over Florida in the Swamp. We had only beaten Florida once since 1988 before that game in 2002. I loved skull-raping Florida in their own stadium. Since 2002, LSU is 5-4 against Florida. Only negative is Saban left Mauck in too long, got hurt.
Worst: 20-21 to Arkansas. Cost us another trip to the SECCG.
HOW in (*&*%&$#^@%@%^&(*$%@~@!~!#$^%$@#$@~!#^%^&%&$$%#$%!$#@~!$@~$@#$#$@#@!@$~@#$#$% do you have a 20-14 lead with a half-minute to go, and your opponent backed up inside their 15 yard line, and...............LOSE ?????????????????????
How in holy hell do you give up not one, but """"""""""""TWO""""""""""""" Hail Mary's, back to back, to a QB who was 3 for 17 before that ????????
Saban should have allowed Randall to run for the 1st down on a 4th and 1, instead of kicking a FG to put us up 20-14 (although I can see where he thought that might be a safe lead).
If Randall makes the first, LSU runs out the clock, and PLAYS IN ATLANTA for the 2nd straight year.
