Brah, Kendall is the only Briles that isn't completely radioactive.
And we should go get him.
And we should go get him.

There is a reason Briles is unemployred, and its not because O won't hire him.

The court filing, obtained and published in full by the Dallas Morning News, tied Briles to numerous disciplinary situations between 2011-15 through his text message interactions and other university documentation. Briles was frequently concerned with making sure that matters weren't reported to judicial affairs, handled internally depending on the severity of the situation.
quote:
On September 13 2013, Shillinglaw sent a text to Coach Briles about a player who got a massage and "supposedly exposed himself and asked for favors. She [masseuse] has a lawyer but wants us to handle with discipline and counseling." Coach Briles' first response was "What kind of discipline... She a stripper?" When Shillinglaw said the player made the request at a salon and spa while getting a massage, Coach Briles wrote, "Not quite as bad."
quote:
On September 20, 2013, after a player was arrested for assault and threatening to kill a non-athlete, a football operations staff official tried to talk the victim out of pressing criminal charges. Meanwhile, Coach Briles texted Athletics Director Ian McCaw: "Just talked to [the player] - he said Waco PD was there - said they were going to keep it quiet - Wasn't a set up deal... I'll get shill (Shillinglaw) to ck on Sibley (local attorney Jonathan Sibley)." Athletics Director Ian McCaw replied: "That would be great if they kept it quiet!"

Freeze needs to be hired ASAP before somebody else snaps him up.
How in the hell do we hire a coach as our OC, when we currently have an OC on staff? Surely you arent saying we need to fire Canada huh?

OUCH. never saw that, yea frick him .

Now it doesn't prove he knew about or covered up rapes, but he definitely let them do whatever they wanted and actively tried to cover up other instances of illegal behavior so it's not a stretch to say he knew about the rapes too.
Either way, he's not someone who runs a tight ship if he either let's them get away with it or has other coaches keeping him out of the loop.
I wouldn't want him anywhere near LSU.

and you idiots who want to change offensive systems for the 3rd time in 3 years are beyond stupid. Get coach captain caveman to swallow his cud and get along with the current OC and make it work for LSU like he fricking said a year ago

I think ideally most here want Canada to stay and most want whatever is/or isn't going on between Canada and O to be resolved. People are simply discussing contingencies.
I would imagine that Canada has expressed his desire to be a HC and like Kiffin is even willing to take a pay cut if the right opportunity arises. That's not to say there isn't a rift with him and O. For both of their sakes, they need to suck it up and stick together. He should play out his contract because 2019 will be a great year with talent and experience and he would have a much better resume' to get a good HC gig.

You candyasses is why we will never win... Alleva included...
I'd rather be a "candyass" who opposes the hiring by my beloved alma mater of a guy who covered up rape and god knows what else than a mouth breathing dipshit like you. Either way, it doesn't matter. As inept as Alleva is, even his dumb arse wouldn't touch Briles. For that, I'm thankful.

Briles did not rape anyone you snowflake. Is saban held accounable for his players drug dealing and god lnows what else. He turns the other eye. Im sure that Briles is probally a. better person than saban. Briles is a QB developer and im sure spends most of his time like Aranda breaking down film and trying to get the most of his offense. What QB would not want to play for him. He is also almost obsessed with keeping his teaching methods a secret. Every team has bad apples. All im saying is bring his arse to Baton Rouge and we have a juggernaut.

Briles is morally bankrupt. A perfect fit with Alleva so why not?
Posted on 12/5/17 at 9:01 am to SG_Geaux
Freeze infraction was nothing compared to Briles covering up rape.

Briles' offense would penetrate opposing defenses against their will.

O should be on phone with Art Briles and begging him to come run our offense. He and Aranda would be unbeatable.
I'd rather lose every game for the next 5 years than employ someone who condoned his players raping people. He should never coach again imo.

Brides as a shadow coach similar to the 75 shadow coaches and consultants that Saban employs.
