We’ve won championships and lost to worse team since that day but I will never forget the blatant cheating, thievery and corruption that was the 06 game. Every positive LSU play was called back and every Auburn penalty was overlooked. Even the replay booth was in on it. So for that among many reasons, frick Auburn and frick Jordan Hare

Know what you mean brother. That ‘06 team was very talented & destroyed ND in the ‘07 Sugar Bowl.

We should let it go but too maddening for that.

I totally agree. The refs always cheat for Alabama and Auburn. I a vast majority of SEC employees, administrators, whatever are from Alabama and are alumni of one or the other. Many of the refs are Alabama or Auburn homers. We need to get the SEC headquarters out of Alabama. It wreaks of corruption and bias, just like our federal government.

Refs screwed us but Jimbo and Les screwed us worse.

Play calling was crap that game

We had Jamarcus, Dwayne Bowe, Craig Davis, Early Doucet, Hester and so much more talent.

The game never should’ve been that close at the end.

I still think that’s our most talented team outside of 2019.

It’s totally unfair to all the other schools. Why don’t we put it in Fayetteville Arkansas and hire 50% Arkansas wearing Hog shirts and hats. It would be the same thing. It’s bullshite

Same here. The level of cheating in that game was disgusting — 2004 Auburn game pisses me off equally as much also. Another cheating game at Auburn…

I'm no Jimbo fan, but in '06 he was one of the premiere playcallers in college football and stated a few years later that LSU should've won that game by 3 TDs. That game had Leslie written all over it. Les was such a criminally horrible football coach that it was masked and falsely mistaken as him being a genius. That man won so many games in spite of himself that it's not even funny. He kept talent and good assistants (for the most part) which helped his cause. The Flynn to Byrd TD vs. Auburn in '07 was a clock management blunder...but it worked out in Les' favor and dubbed him the "Riverboat Gambler" when in fact he had no idea what he was doing and had no idea the clock was running out. The Ole Miss "clock it" game in '09...dude had NO IDEA the game was over when JJ went to the sideline. Tennessee in '05...tried calling a TO after an interception. REALLY?!?!?!?! Anyway, I blame '06 Auburn on Leslie Ann Miles 100%.

Remember when Patrick Peterson intercepted that pass on the sideline to potentially win the game for us? Don’t remember year and too lazy to look it up. But y’all remember. He was 100% in bounds

Didn’t remember the year, so I can’t tell you that. Sorry. I have other things to do also.

I don’t expect people to remember every play of every game

But any true fan should remember the interception that wasn’t against Bama in 2009. It was absolute horse shite that they called Pat Peterson out of bounds on that play.

It’s still discussed to this day.

There’s ample enough evidence now to suggest Jimbo is perfectly capable of being awful and fricking his own self without the need to be “held back”.
