There was also a pass to Hester in the first half where he caught a pass and took FIFTY STEPS (it was CLEARLY 2-3 steps with full possession of the ball) and then either fumbled it out of bounds, or a teammate recovered it. The details about what that call cost us are fuzzy, but I know it cost us points.

They ruled it an incompletion, and the play happened on fourth down.

There were 8 egregiously bad calls in that game and every one of them benefited Auburn.

remember but did they ever explain why he was out of bounds?
You could clearly see PP7 had not one but both feat in, he even marked the field where is foot was.

After the game was over and it was evident that the Tigers were robbed of an opportunity, Gumps claimed that Julio touching Patrick while he was out of bounds ruled him out immediately but I seem to recall it not holding up to the rules.

Ahh yes, the day many LSU fans lost their innocence and were starting to realize the SEC rigs games.

The entire 2009 season says "hold my beer".

Refs screwed us but Jimbo and Les screwed us worse.

Every big play LSU had on offense came back with a phantom call (we even had an olineman with a cast on his hand called for holding on one big play) and AU got away with at least two blatant PI calls IN THE frickING END ZONE.

You can shite on Les and the coaches all you want, but there was NOTHING they could do that day to win. NOTHING.

That game was fixed. Period. Anyone with eyes and a brain could see that.

Speaking of Bama cheating and J Lee, there was a textbook spearing/ leading with the helmet hit on Jefferson that was the reason Lee got in.

There is a great picture of that blatant spearing, with bug eyes in the back, within 5 yards of the hit, staring right at it. Of course there was no call. LOLOLOL

DB (Irons?) was literally assaulting the receiver (Davis or Doucet). Some of the player names are hazy now

I thought Jarett’s 3rd down conversion to Randle was a bit of a redemption moment. Stayed in the pocket and delivered a beautiful pass down the sideline. Without that conversion, who knows if we win or not

thievery and corruption that was the 06 game.

I get it but as much as it pains me to say it, I don’t think we were getting past Florida that year. It would have hurt my soul to have a second loss to florida in the seccg

Disagree respectfully. Nobody was beating LSU at the end of 2006. We were elite across the board. Missing early in the season was a good oline and RB play and by the end we found both
