But y’all remember. He was 100% in bounds

Both feet too. Even the NFL would’ve called him in bounds.

I remember but did they ever explain why he was out of bounds? Did they say he didn't have possession? I remember them claiming Miles was satisfied with the explanation but it was never told to the public....and Mike Slive just told the press they would have no comment on the issue....that was complete horseshite!!!

I was at that game. The last drive was crazy. We should have been throwing all day.

If I recall, the replay official did not have HD tv to look at and the fuzzy standard definition did not show it well enough to overturn the call on the field. Supposedly all replays were outfitted with HD by the following week.

The reason the 09 Bama cheat job hurts less is because I don’t think Jarrett Lee was going to win that game for us

Speaking of Bama cheating and J Lee, there was a textbook spearing/ leading with the helmet hit on Jefferson that was the reason Lee got in.

Knocked JJ out the rest of that game and the next. And we were winning with him playing well when he went down.

No flag. In a year where I seem to remember there being a new emphasis on penalizing those types of hits.

There are 4 I can easily recall off the top of my head. The holding/pass interference on Doucet is what most people remember.

Just as egregious was the complete mugging of Lafell in the EZ just a few feet from a striped shirt. It was just before halftime.

Instead of 1st and goal with 30 seconds or so to play, we end up with a field goal. Huge no-call. Even the back judge's seeing-eye dog was barking for a flag.

What year was the “diving on the pile” called? That still pisses me off!

irons shoved him from behind and kicked his legs out from under him. No flag.

People on this board actually argued that the refs did not affect the outcome of that game. Un-fricking-real.

Are you talking about the penalty on their extra point try? If so, that was 2004.

There was also a pass to Hester in the first half where he caught a pass and took FIFTY STEPS (it was CLEARLY 2-3 steps with full possession of the ball) and then either fumbled it out of bounds, or a teammate recovered it. The details about what that call cost us are fuzzy, but I know it cost us points.

That game was LOADED with BS calls. I try not to be a blame the ref guy, but that was crystal clear to me at Auburn in 2006.

Also, even though I was a huge Lakers fan while Shaq was there, the Kings got COMPLETELY SCREWED in the 2000 NBA Western finals. I was happy for Shaq, but damn that was so obvious the NBA was reviving a storied franchise around their 2 young mega stars.
