I agree with pimp. When I heard he signed I looked up his highlights and was blown away. Every play he was in he performed better than his highlights. When blew up that return on Georgia I went nuts.
You both and your son are everything that being a Tiger means. Here’s to 3 more years of his educated foot and outstanding attitude.
We are so glad he’s here.

If your son never scores a point for LSU, his value will still be immeasurable.

A kickoff likely cost LSU what would have been their last victory over Alabama.

And for anyone who hasn’t seen his highlights...

Avery is more than a kicker. Freakish athlete that lays the wood.

This is the kind of stuff that makes me proud to be an LSU fan. Hearing stories like this literally gives me goosebumps from head to toe. LSU is lucky to have Avery. I believe he could be anywhere he wants to be. Thank you so much for sharing this story and please share more during his time at LSU and after as well. If you haven't noticed, (most) LSU fans enjoy following our former Tigers no matter what career path they choose. Good luck to you and your family in the future.

As an LSU fan I'm also very proud your son chose LSU. He certainly was a valuable asset in the success of the team this year. Thanks for your positive post.

Thank you! After watching him play growing up and in high school, my wife and I were probably the only ones in Tiger Stadium who were not surprised he stuck his nose in there on the fumble- but I was really proud of him just the same.
Do your job! Help your team! Find a way to win!
