One other thing, you don't know how much grief and nervousness your son has saved me & my family watching these Tiger kickoffs this year. I've sweated these out for about 45 years now.............and he's relieved us a lot of stress....

Avery, Thanks for giving us a lot more PEACE while watching kickoffs like we've never had before!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am your son's biggest fan living 8-10,000 miles away from Baton Rouge, in Abu Dhabi and Bangkok.

Thank you for raising a great kid and sending him to Baton Rouge. You are all part of the LSU family forever and we as fans are so happy to have your son booming kickoffs into the endzone. Before, I was always cringing to see when the opponents would run one back for good yards or a TD. Now, I have eliminated that concern with Mr. Atkins kicking off.

Hope you embrace Louisiana, LSU fans, Cajun food, Tiger Stadium and the best game day atmosphere in the country. It seems you already found Louie's Cafe. I have not eaten there since my Soph year at LSU in 1987, and I plan on stopping by over the holidays just to get a bite.

Thanks you...his parents for all your support raising such a great young man. Plus...how many kickers attack their position like a safety with a nose for the ball. That GA fumble recovery was awesome. Hope he has a memorable 4 Years and is Forever LSU!

Avery has been amazing on kickoffs this year. After watching his HS highlights, it seems like he should have been given a shot after the DB injuries we've had.
