Look, I think it was a catch, but if that was a Bama receiver and the refs called it a catch, you'd have been screaming bloody murder about cheating refs.
How about we just acknowledge that refs do the best they can, and that some calls go our way and some don't. Just like for every other team.
But this one went our way, and it was a big one.

He had the catch. The other side line official had the feet. This the reason the officials look at each other before confirming a call.

Yeah I said that during the game.
They ruled he was pushed out anyways. It was 100% the right call to keep that as a catch. Bama fans are dumb.

+1! Was in the stands for that one against Arky. Best catch I've seen in person. Moss was more of a great catch w the footwork. Landry was just laying out BIG time for his catch. Nice replay!

I thought so too at first, but the opposite camera shot made me think twice. The CBS crew got later clarification on the push-out call but I don’t think they addressed the defensive touching.

Watch “SEC Inside -LSU vs Alabama” on the SEC Network. It’s a good show put together with non-CBS camera angles. This crew had a camera placed right behind this particular play, as they say, “coming right into you living room.” The shot was tight, and clear.
Diggs did not touch that ball. Missed his fingers by an inch or two.
What y’all are seeing that looks like the ball changing direction, is a combination of a spiral that was not that tight, and a football that doesn’t have stripes on all four panels.

All we're missing is an unsportsmanlike conduct call when AL is 1st and G w a minute left in the game, while 3 of our defenders are committing the same foul trying to bait the call.
