Logan
Chaisson
Lawrence

Still “gimpy”.

Dear lord, these cats must have gotten wrecked in that UT game.

Going on 3-4 weeks post UT this weekend and some of these guys are still not ready to go.

No bueno.

We got UF and the real bruising conference schedule coming up. No where really to hide these injuries coming up- well perhaps Ole Miss.

They were tackling our DL from behind, from on the ground, etc. all game long. They were playing extremely dirty all game.

Chaisson was ready last week. They just decided they didn’t need him, and he could rest it a little more.

I'm starting to think some of this is to get some of the young guys e perience as well and let the starters have fresh legs on the backend of the schedule. I just wonder about their conditioning sitting out so long.

Who? There were two Alexanders on defense last year, but graduation took them out of the lineup.

Resting them up b/c the harder games are coming and they will be needed when it really counts. Beside these other games gave other members on team some quality playing time to prepare down the stretch, if ever needed. Good strategy as long as you don't blow those games.

More than likely the case.

They still have to make workouts and practice. It’s not like they’ve been dicking around all this time.

Or maybe just maybe not take a risk and get them healthy for the grind of the schedule?

THIS. Will they be ready to play demanding series vs UF, let alone 4 qtrs., and not run out of gas? Legitimate concern. Just don't like the way the front seven has been banged up, and their lack of overall PT to gel as a unit.

It takes a village. DEF (1-2 rotation) needs to step up across the board with a big game this weekend which propels them forward into a tough 3-game stretch.

I get that but game conditioning is different from workout conditioning.

I hope, but Lawarence has been injured every year since he became a starter. I was hoping his surgery in off season would cure his ailments and he would have a successful Pro career.

I don't think they were 100% going into the Texas game in the first place.

I thought we were prohibited from now bringing up the holding and other crap the UT oline was allowed to get away with now that:
1. The game is over
2. We won

A number of rantards too cool for the rest of us have attested to such.

Chaisson has lost more games to injury than Lawrence.
Both have had their share of injuries.

Based on O's comments, Logan's must be the worst injury

I think Lawrence and Chaisson will be back for Florida and O probably doesn't want to use them against Utah St if he doesn't have to or use them very little just to get them back in the flow of things.

Divinity sounds a lot better than it looked coming off the field. I'm guessing Auburn would be the best case scenario to get him back.
