Weak arse pre SEC schedule caught up to us this weekend. Anderson, Cowan, and Evans were the only pitchers that showed up. Shores and Schmidt need to see a lot of midweek work until they get shite together.

Texas gonna be a problem for most SEC teams in the big 3

Up 5-2 in the 5th after whipping them on Friday. Gotta close them out.
Next time LSU is in that position, Evans needs to be coming out of the bullpen.

How do you know they ain’t good? Quit watching if you can’t take a few bumps. This must be your first season following baseball. I recall 2023 didn’t win every series

What exactly from texas did you see that stood out aside from two hitters and one decent pictcher the rest of them were fricking average
I saw more than two hitters that were good , and more than one pitcher. You may want to ease up on drinking during the games

Texas is a very good team. Reasonable expectation was to take 2/3 games this weekend. Jay hasn’t figured out the pitching yet. Lots of new guys who haven’t pitched in the road in the SEC. I believe Jay will have it figured out by the end of the SEC schedule. Until he does, we’re going to lose some that we shouldn’t. Pitching isn’t Jay’s strong point so he is relying on the pitching coach for some of these decisions.
My two cents.

Texas isn't even that good

So.....No. 8 in the country ain't "that good"?
Play a tougher pre-conference schedule is my only issue. Mizzou is maybe the worst SEC team so Texas was the first decent team we played and it think the step up in competition on the road - we were not prepared.

Schloss is building a very good program. No shame in losing to Texas. LSU is 1 and Texas is 2 for 2025 recruiting.

Not sure if you’re serious with the “not that good”. Miss. State is 1-5 in conference and we get them at home. Take 2 of 3 or sweep and we’re fine.

You’re such a pussy. But it makes sense you are probably from Mandeville. No offense to anyone else from the northshore.

Really? Can fans ever give the opponent credit for beating LSU? Texas is a top five team. Get over it. Move along. LSU is 4-2 in SEC play after two series.

You act like he inherited some dire rebuilding job at Texas.
He has largely the same roster as last year minus two SP's, how good was that team (it wasn't)? He had a grand total of 6 days at Texas before the portal closed.
Texas recruiting class rankings:
2022: 22
2023: 7
2024: 7 (he held this one together)
_______Shloss Hired________
2025: 2
2026: 1
David Pierce was not liked by recruits or boosters, Schloss is going to have access to pretty much whatever he wants NIL wise. Denying that he is going to be a force there is dumb.

Id feel good with a sweep next week. 2 of 3 would be fine I guess, but we're gonna be fine, But Tennessee, Uga, Bama, Texas, Arky, etc. all look good. The list goes on with top end talent in this league.

Sorry but I didn't see nothing from Texas that made me think they were over talented or whatever. Sunshine Pump it or spin it however you want Texas was not that great I'm sorry we were just fricking pathetic the last two games

+1. Texas is very GOOD. They took advantage of their scoring opportunities today and they deserved to win. Tigers will be fine. Lineup is solid offensively and defensively. Pitchers need to throw strikes! We have 4 guys that are dealing right now on the mound. Need to find 4 more.....
Let it happen.
