At SEC media day need some help. Leave it to an idiot Texas reporter to ask LSU’s coach how good Texas will be this year…and then OU reporter asks about how good OU’s coach has been.

They're just trying to get quotes that are relevant for their readers. They will probably ask every coach those questions, then put together articles about how the preexisting conference coaches collectively see the newcomers.

I think it was Hunts show a few weeks ago they had on a reporter from both schools and the OU guy was basically saying he expects them to come in this year and light up the conference. The UT reporter was actually more measured and tempered.

I agree. At the very least we should have had it in Houston which is more of an SEC city than Dallas is.

I can’t wait until they realize that 10-2 or 9-3 in the SEC is not so bad. They will both be talking about how 10-2 or 9-3 should still get you into the playoffs very soon. How it’s equivalent to 11-1 in any other conference. Ha ha

This Texas team is good and then they also got a favorable schedule their first time. They will probably not learn anything in their first year. Oklahoma however is about to get their arse handed to them

LSU doesn’t play OU in Norman. It’s in BR.
At the very least a question about growing up in the middle of OU UT territory and now being conference opponents would be plausible.

Why do people believe this narrative? Yall need to understand that OU is a powerhouse program who’s been very relevant for a long time. They always adapt and find a way to be in the mix.
They won 10 games last year and that was a down year for them. This idea that OU is gonna get dominated in the SEC is laughable. They’re gonna push a bunch of teams down a tier and have a seat right at the table with LSU, Bama, Texas and Georgia. Just watch.

OU doesn’t play Mississippi State. Yall are just throwing shite at the wall at this point. Middle tier to bottom tier programs like ole Miss and a&m hate this expansion because they know what it means for them.
