LSU finished Orgeron’s second regular season with the same record as his first.

You could easily look at that the other way and say Jimbo needed significant ref help multiple times and 7OTs to beat LSU.

But the point is moot. There were a few key moments in the game that were totally in LSU's control to put it away and the refs would have had no say in it.

The shitty referring was the icing on the shite cake, but the shite cake is still LSU's offense and some pussy arse playcalling at the end of regulation.

O is at his best when he has an aggressive mindset (see UGA) and he's at his worst when he's passive and playing not to lose (UF and A&M).

Remember when Jimbo was considered an overrated coach?

And he was predicted to win 6 or 7 with this schedule.

A&M got South Carolina and Kentucky from the East.

LSU got Georgia and Florida.

We finished the same in conference. Better overall record. Head to head doesn't matter in final positioning.

What did you see from Jimbo last night that makes you think he's not? The story line here is not Jimbo's coaching acumen, it was a shite arse LSU offense that couldn't close out, and then the refs who decided to put their own special brand of stink on it.

We lost that game 100% on officiating. And the Florida game had a critical bad 4th down spot that allowed them to score before half as well, changing the momentum of that game.

Sure every game has bad/missed calls. Just waiting on one to swing the outcome in our favor. Just once would be nice.

Actually A&M and LSU tied for 2nd in the West.

However, the agreed narrative is that Jimbo is taking a program in the right direction, and they're bristling with optimism in College Station. Many Aggie fans last night actually seemed scornful of LSU!

Orgeron just reflects badly on LSU. He just reminds fans of continuing failure and frustration.

LSU beat 2 bowl teams last year.

We have beaten 5 this year including UGA.

That was the narrative last night started by Dari Nowkah, Chris Doering and Gene Chizikh on SEC Now. All about the great Jimbo Fisher and how great this program is already.

They even tied the loss to karma because both O and the Hal Morris were doused with Gatorade before losing last night and the BlueGrass Miracle. I don't think SEC media and others dislike, Orgeron, I think they thrive on the fact of the Cajun Come Home, and love the character he plays.

frick me sideways, I am beyond angry, yet.

Lester this season is still a wash and no different than last year.

9-3 heading to a meaningless bowl playing a meaningless team that no one will watch

We get it. You don’t like O.

This is your 200th thread of the same tone and narrative.

I think everyone knows where you stand.

I remember when Kevin Sumlin was taking them in the right direction too
