No way that’s how that play was designed to go.
Clearly the screen is supposed to draw defenders to that side to get Green one on one OR get favorable numbers for the screen.
nuss threw into double coverage and Green beat a safety who was in position.

I hope the LSU pass rushers can stay in their lanes and keep the aTm QB from running for another TD on this drive.

This. The ball placement by Nuss was terrible. I am glad the result was what it was, but the ball should be thrown much higher to take advtnage of Green's size.
