Whenever there is an important ground ball, our infielders are somewhere else

Why keep Evan’s in past 80 pitches?
Because he’s a Friday night starter

This is what putting pressure looks like and LSU has not done that this season - precious little

Every year johnson maximizes hitting and lets fielding fall where it may. Which is a strategy that's worked.
Well this year the hitting didn't pan out and this is what were left with.

May be less embarrassing to just forfeit the rest of the series

evans just isn’t a starter right now.
At his best he’s gutting it out after like 60 pitches.
we can’t have your friday night guy consistently giving up 3-4 runs

Yet, Coach keeps doing the same dumb shite

Timely hitting. We don’t do that.

Yep. He’d lost 4 mph on his fastball by that point and lost the bite on his split. I’m not sure Evans can really extend much past 80 pitches.

quote:if you leave runners on base "every inning", you're statistically likely to score a shite ton of runs.
You’re not going to win leaving guys on base every inning against a good team

It's like groundhog day for baseball.
Same shite every game.
