I just wish he would have done it earlier but it had to be a difficult decision. I do not like it but I understand. Good luck young man. ??

That game last night was a shite show. This season is a shite show. The offense is a huge shite show, and it's not gonna get any better.

No denying any of this but using this as logic to quit just speaks to that individuals character. So when/if that player gets drafted to a shitty team in the NFL they don’t have bust arse and can quit whenever?

frick him. At least chase had the decency to do it before the first game. Waiting until we have Alabama and Florida left is a coward move and that’s all he will be remembered as. Chase won’t go down as a quitter bc he did it the right way. That’s the way it is and the way it went down. No way around it.

Does he get no credit for playing part of the season unlike Chase?

It’s even worse he quit now

I’m so confused by people that are acting personally attacked by this. Are you on the team or something?

I’m not referring to team success on this one. Just the timing versus guys who opted out before the season.

again. why does his timing make a difference, at this point?

is he going to make a difference in a W v. Bama or UF?

There is no business at this point. He quit. Certainly his right, but there were others that could have taken that scholarship and it was used on a guy that quit during the season.

Less than 2 weeks ago he called a team meeting and declared himself a leader. Then he quit. LOL! Pathetic.

When the going gets tough the quitters get going...This crap is setting a precedent. In 2 years when hopefully Covid is a memory are y’all OK with players opting out if the season isn’t going as hoped?

Opting out for the virus is one thing though I think that is a cop out, but this is quitting because you do not care about your personal responsibility. It never works out and pro teams notice.

He should have smoked a bunch of weed and got kicked off the team after multiple suspensions. Then he would be a Tiger legend. Right TM7?

This thread is about him making a “business decision”.

Listen, I understand what he’s doing 100%. But quitters don’t get a pat on the back and tribute on the way out. Somehow good players on bad teams all over the country manage to not quit.
