They are no different than Texas, and I'm talking the fanbase. You would think Texas is royalty, when they haven't won a championship in any of the big 3 in 20 years...if any of you see their facebook page...it is comical...they love them some regular season champs.
At least Tenn has won a championship last year in baseball....but other than that they also haven't won anything in 20 years...but you would think they are each the #1 sports program in the nation.

Most sold tickets in lsu baseball Alex Box history was 2 years ago series win against Vols and second most sold tickets in Box history was last night. A game like that will only add to it being a rivalry too.

Both sides talk shite. I personally love it. I love it when the Tennessee pitcher tells Brown to get back in the box. I love it when Jones watches a walk off HR. I loved it when Jones told that Kentucky pitcher to go frick himself. I love all of it. It’s part of why I love college sports. Which is why I don’t understand why everyone on this board gets so upset at Tennessee. Tennessee being Tennessee is part of the reason as to why the Box was bumping for a game that didn’t start until 10pm. I do wonder what the reaction of this board would be if a Tennessee student threw a baseball at a LSU player on the field in the middle of the game…

They are a classless team with a classless bush league coach who learned form a classless bush league coach in Van Horn. Schloss is cut from the same freaking cloth as well. That is why their teams behave that way. He is. Former Tulane bitch and Van Horn coached at ULM or one of those shitty schools
They all started that shite. Not LSU’s teams. You never saw that behavior at LSU. You start it and we end it.

Last night’s antics started early. When a ball would be fouled, thrown, whatever towards the Tennessee dugout, someone from their dugout (Vitello once) would give it to #26. He would wait for the appropriate time and throw it behind home plate to the ball girls on the other side. Nevermind there were some ladies right there by their dugout to take those balls.
Funny, it would be right at our on deck guy. This was in the first few innings. Hell, he even had the older guys in our section giving him the business. I loved it. It went downhill from there. Throw in the student in RF throwing a ball at the Tenn RF and the Box was LIT!!!!
Glad we won, otherwise tonight would be a hard game to win.

Look, Vitello is what he is. As much as I don’t like his MO of pushing the boundaries, no one can deny what he’s done with the Tennessee baseball team.

LSU does it, Tennessee does it a little more.
It's good for the game. They're not role models, they're entertainers.
The only issue I have with Vitello is that he is a good coach who makes it harder for LSU to win championships.
