Overall, the inconsistency with this club indicates that CJJ hasn’t connected with the team. They are not responding to his coaching.

It’s 2 months in to year one. Good lord.
This team went 13-17 in conference last year, hardly a juggernaut. Not saying Johnson is the GOAT but it’s WAYYYYY too soon to make sweeping judgements.

Relax…. New coach new system new players. It takes time. Maybe a year. Patience is tough these days but it’s better to build a solid foundation, and that takes time. Enjoy the process and the progress this team will make from JJs first year. We should always hope we win the prize but we all know that’s usually the team with A LOT of experience. We have multiple legit pros on our team but they lack the experience. The more this team plays the more they will gel. It’s all about putting it together for regionals and supers. We have time to gel.

Team doesn't look good yet. Plenty of time but the fielding is troubling. College baseball is weird. This team and JJ are very capable of flipping the switch.

As much as I hate the fielding on this team it's the half way point in season one let's pump the breaks.

He really just got left 5 or 6 dh's that he's trying to find spots for on defense and its just costing us alot of close games... The pitching has been a huge suprise and has exceeded most expectations honestly.

People who talk about inconsistency in baseball is hilarious. Every single baseball team of all time is “inconsistent” it’s the nature of the game. It’s the same thing as people that complain that “we never hold a lead” in basketball when we lose a 7 point lead, like dude that’s basketball.

Wow. 1/3 of the way through season 1 with a bunch of inherited players and a better record than last year at this point but we “aren’t gelling”?

This time last year we were 1-8 in conference
We are currently 4-5 in conference...
And that is with the combination of worst fielding and simple bad baseball luck I’ve seen in a long time.
Give it time, I suspect this team will be way more formidable in May and a June!
