Tbh, I don’t care if he plays or he doesn’t. I don’t care what their excuses will be. Win and knock those cousin banging Gumps out of the playoffs.

This. We’d be fools to not prepare for Tua. BUT I absolutely would not be surprised if he dressed but didn’t play. No reason for Saban to say either way until absolutely necessary.

This is circulating on Bama pay boards, but I can't guarantee it's true! My friend who lives behind behind enemy lines told me that his well-connected Bama acquaintances are saying Mac Jones is getting the start. They say Tua is only about 60%, hobbling around but can come off the bench. Which would make sense to me, because Tua had the same injury before last year's SEC title, and with twice as much time to recover, he still played like a bum. Once again, I'm not trying to report this as fact, but it's what Bama insiders are saying.

Also tua had the injury in the seccg and had the surgery after the game and played fine against Oklahoma. So yea nothing he said is correct

Tua will play until he absolutely can’t (makes a mistake).

I get the feeling that LSU fans think that without Tua playing, this is going to be a cakewalk. I do not share this opinion. We will need to play our "A" game regardless. If we do, we can beat them with whoever lines up behind center. There isn't any room for errors in this one.

I think this actually makes the most sense.

The guy just had surgery and risks longterm injury with serious implications to his financial future. It is beyond irresponsible to put this guy in harms way at this stage in his recovery.

So your friend's position is that every public figure involved in Tua's injury status reporting is lying? Does not make sense to me.

I mean, if he isn’t healthy enough to start is he healthy enough to play? This isn’t basketball where you can put him on a 10 minute limit.

Mac Jones may do a nice impression of Kyle Trask on the LSU D. BTW, is Delpit good to go or not?

everyone important from Saban to Coach O knew the second Tua went down he would start against LSU. All this speculation is just crap.
