Don’t care, I’ll take the win anyway they can get it but LSU should be able to beat with Tua. I do find it funny how everyone thinks Mac Jones is “good” from playing against Arkansas.

agreed...if Tua's good enough to com off the bench, he's good enough to start.

if they were scared of re-injuring, he would be out completely.

Tbh, I don’t care if he plays or he doesn’t. I don’t care what their excuses will be. Win and knock those cousin banging Gumps out of the playoffs.

I don’t care either, for years they played us when we didn’t have a QB either

Agree with this. See Mickey Guidry/Tommy Hodson circa 1987 (LSU v Alabama).

I get the feeling that LSU fans think that without Tua playing, this is going to be a cakewalk.

Because if he doesn’t play, LSU should win handily. If we can’t outscore Mac Jones, we should just cancel the rest of the season.

This is circulating on Bama pay boards, but I can't guarantee it's true! My friend who lives behind behind enemy lines told me that his well-connected Bama acquaintances are saying Mac Jones is getting the start. They say Tua is only about 60%, hobbling around but can come off the bench. Which would make sense to me, because Tua had the same injury before last year's SEC title, and with twice as much time to recover, he still played like a bum. Once again, I'm not trying to report this as fact, but it's what Bama insiders are saying.

I don't believe this for one second because:

a.) We've seen him moving around already and he looks good enough when you consider:

b.) They are going to shoot up that ankle to help with the pain tomorrow.

Add those things together and, barring another injury, Tua plays at about 90% I would think.

Cool so Tua will still play. Either he starts or comes in when we beating Jones. Only way he doesnt play is if jones starts and throttles us right out the gate but i dont see that happening.

This will definitely happen but like Richard Dickson was saying today. Yes he will get shot up and may even feel 100% at the start of the game but by 3rd quarter it wont feel so good.

LSU needs to get a rush up the middle and make him move laterally and throw on the run. It will tell just how good or bad that ankle is.

Shelvin will be big in this game

At this point IMHO his arm would have to be dangling off his shoulder and a hole appear in his head before he won't play.
