I'd be curious to knwo what they are paying him. Barstool is funny because they make these people pseudo famous and while they pay a livable wage, I don't think many are getting rich. Its why brands like Bussin have to leave the umbrella to cash in.

Hester is the most boring radio personality I may have ever heard for a lead morning show. Hopefully they have someone with that can fill tbob shoes

He's a talented talker, he can improvise and has knowledge of a lot of things. He's funny as hell sometimes too. The dude will be a star there.

I am sure he got somewhat of a raise but there are other reasons to work for barstool. very few of them are buying mansions. Its pretty much just the original crew who are rich. Brandon Walker might be in that group as well but he literally never stops working.
Barstool takes care of the marketing and ad revenue. You get more freedom on what you work on. You have a deep roster of other personalities you can use for your content or help with their content. You also get much more exposure than a local radio show.
I doubt he will be a barstool lifer. He will probably work there for 5 or so years and then leave when his brand is big enough to be sustainable on its own. Its the long game and Barstool is a good stepping stone for someone to launch their brand on a national level.
Maybe he becomes part of the college football show and sticks for the long haul but if he is lucky, he will create something that he can take on his own and become rich like the Bussin guys.

I used to listen to him fill in for Songy a few years ago. He’s actually pretty good and on a station like 104.5, I could see him doing well.
