I heard GG on the radio yesterday...he has no fricking clue, it is his personal interpretation base on a "quick look" at the policy

He is no more educated on this than you or I

Don't give Shreveport such a bad name. Guilbeau is an idiot who lives and works in Baton Rouge. However, he works for Gannett, which owns and prints the Shreveport Times, Lafayette Daily Advertiser, and Alexandria Town Talk. His columns appear in all those papers, much to the dislike LSU fans living in those cities!

I find it hard to beleive that all three have failed drug tests before. Wouldn't it be better to assume that the reason they are being suspended is for Miles to send a message that regardless of your importance on the field, you will still be subject to disciplinary action (up to) suspension. Either way, if they sit for the Auburn game it nearly guarantees that our star players will be healthy for the Bama game.

There is no way they will get suspended for 2 games because this is not a NCAA rule. this is just a college rule some have thes rule in place and soem dont there is no way they get 2 game sfor this!!!!!!

They could also die in a bus crash tomorrow. A satellite could fall on the Pete M. arse. center and kill 500 people. Lots of things *could* happen. Oops, I mean, didn't read it.

GG is setting Miles up for critique.

The will not be suspended for the Alabama game. So when Miles reinstates these players next week (or Bama week), GG will get to rip Miles for not being a disciplinarian.

GG has no clue, it's pure speculation on his part. He's throwing shite on the wall in hopes that it will stick. Sure, they could miss the Bama game if they screw up and don't follow orders in the next two weeks. GG is a hack journalist on his best day.

Oh, but see, now people are talking about him and now he's more relevant. And maybe, juuuuust mayyybeee (please, pretty please, let it be so), he'll be able to say "I told you so."

How about if we get an official statement about Saturday's game before we have "bloggers" blogging about three weeks from now. Some people (GG)just need to stay away from keyboards.

I think they should be suspended for at least 2 games. Plus I don't think there is that much of a drop off with those three out for the bama game.

Hanagriff looked at the same policy and projects 1 game and if CLM requirements are met, they are back for bama. The policy does say 15%, but that equates to 1.8 games. Hanagriff says in his 25 years he's never seen a coach round up. They round down. 1 game. GG is a tool.
