LSUs RPI plummeted from 2 to 4 even with that. Not to mention a strong SOS and Q1 win numbers as someone else posted.

There’s very little material difference in 1-8 seeds. As long as you’re a top 8, you have a great chance of making Omaha. That’s always been the goal, not being the #1 seed
