Summer ball assignments?

Do we have a list of where everybody will be headed for the rest of the summer?

With as much as the pitchers have thrown recently, I bet most will shut it down for the summer
You are only looking at about another month of summer ball left to begin with since the season went so long for LSU
A little surprised Tommy Tanks wasn't invited to Team USA tryouts but that might possibly be for him to rest and heal some nagging injuries he's played through

In the early 00’s, me and some baws went up to Boston for a game then went watch Zeringue and clay Harris (I believe) play in cape cod. It was awesome.
Side note: sitting in the outfield overlooking the field and drinking beer/open container is kind of frowned upon up there, ask me how I know…..

Idk why these kids play summer, esp after going all the way to CWS. All athletes need time off to rest. IMO this is why we see so many pitching injuries. They never get a break. I understand if you were a backup and didn’t get much playing time in the season, but otherwise take some time off and recover.

As an LSU alum and a season ticket holder of the Traverse City Pit Spitters. Would love to see more LSU players come to the Northwoods league if they don’t play in Cape Cod.

I’ll be in cape this weekend. If any LSU guys are playing we’ll probably catch a game. I’d assume they won’t be there yet, unless they didn’t make the CWS roster

He is. It is just a running list of players that have something to do with LSU. When it was announced he would be playing there, he wasn't in the portal yet.

Was watching the pit spitters game on ESPNu tonight. I went to the park when it was wurful park and the traverse city beach bums. I came to see if any of our guys were playing in northwoods.

Is probably the best defensive middle infielder on the team. If he can find the bat, he is so athletic and smooth on defense.

I’d rather see Griffin Herring shut it down for the summer instead of pitching in Cape Cod. Hell, fall ball is just around the corner.

Griffin only threw 34 innings all season. Pitching this summer won’t be a big deal for him. Jay may want to use summer to stretch him out to 4 or 5 inning outings.

I’m not positive exactly how it is done but I know Jay has a lot of connections to get most of them where he wants.
Just an FYI the list earlier in that thread has Guidry going to the cape but I think the plan is for him to stay in BR and play for the Rougarou. He will be playing SS only in summer ball. Probably staying in BR to have access to nutrition and weight room at LSU as he needs to put on about 10-15 lbs before next season.

I may have read it wrong, but I thought I saw, initially, that Gavin Guidry was going to the Baton Rouge Rougarou.
