I see a lot of people complaining online that all players weren’t required to wear suits for the walk. While I get that it seems strange, there is something awesome about the players showing up in whatever the heck they feel like, walking in, kicking arse, and walking out.

That may not be a popular opinion but it shows a level of defiant arrogance which I like. Lane is setting the tone here and I liked how unconventional it was to mix things up a bit.

The SEC won’t allow it.

Heavy suits for either coaches or players in any sports environment is a dumb idea that somebody cooked up in the early 2000s. I’ll be happy to see it go away.

I saw professionalism on that field last night. LSU was thoroughly prepared.

Mike Tyson used to walk into the ring in a black hoodie with the arms and head cut out, kicked arse in a couple of rounds and then walked right back put. No flashy robes or bling. Just saying.

Honestly, it’s too hot for suites.

Makes me think about this interview with Christian McCaffrey talking about how obsessive his dad Ed was about his son’s pregame routine even down to what he wore to school. Point is. It takes effort to put a suit on.

Idk why the players didn't want to wear suits. Maybe when the weather cools down

I like the class. It says we're here to do business. And our business is kicking arse.
