Really like the way Etling controls this offense, fun to watch but seems critics say he doesn't have enough arm strength. Is he as good or better than Lee, thought Lee was pretty decent just couldn't scramble.

Jarrett Lee actually had a very strong arm. He just wasn't known for his decision-making early in his career.

Based purely on observation, I would say that Lee had the stronger arm.

Lee definitely. He actually had a very good arm, he just had no pocket presence and had happy feet.

To be fair, the only QB who had any kind of sustained success in Miles' system is Mett, and that was only for 1 year.

Lee had a really good arm. He just had waaaay too much confidence in it.
He thought he could Brett Favre a ball through triple coverage.

unfortunately, only Favre could actually pull that stunt off on a regular basis.

Lee, and it's not even close.

With the exception of Mett, J.Lee had the strongest arm of any QB on our roster 2007-present.

Harris had/has a stronger arm. Jordan Jefferson had a strong arm, he just sucked.

Lee, but so what? Who really cares as long as Etling has a "strong enough" arm for our offense to succeed.

but seems critics say he (Etling) doesn't have enough arm strength.

I've seen something like this multiple times on the Rant. My question is, WHO are these critics? Are they folks w/ legitimate credentials or are they just folks on the Rant?

Personally, I think "arm strength" is overrated as an isolated QB trait.
