Strong rumors LSU will add a QB very soon

Rumors are swirling that we will a depth piece at QB before week 1…
In my opinion it will be a guy like Tommy Castellanos from Florida state or someone who can run well in a niche’ role.
Also I’m just relaying info from very reliable guys on other LSU sites that are rarely wrong

I don’t see Castellanos coming to be a 2nd or 3rd string guy. He’s going somewhere where he can play

Our quarterback room is loaded. Why do we need a fourth qb beyond the walk-ons etc. we have behind our top three?

How much space do we have on the roster? I find it hard to believe we would add another QB when we could use more depth at CB, OL, and possibly TE. And I can’t see why a QB would come into an already crowded room, unless maybe he’s looking at going into the coaching route after a year in this system as a backup.

If this happens that is extremely concerning and I'm scared for the season. We have plenty of SOLID QB options, so if we need to add once that means we have been being lied to this entire time as far as comments and practice reports etc.

3 extremely athletic QBs on the roster already.
Let’s just say, for arguments sake, LSU actually wanted a niche QB to come in a handful of times and just run the ball. They’d just install run plays with Clark and be done with it.

They must have 0 confidence in someone behind Sam or nobody in their QB room. That's where it gets scary if you think about it. On paper they should have one of the best QB rooms in the country even depth wise but if you're bringing in another QB that throws it on the head. I don't believe you. Goes against what Lane has been saying.
