The people who thought Stingley was going to drop out of the top 10 in the draft are insane. 3 overall. Dude is a stud. We would not have won the championship in 2019 without him. He was the best corner in college football that year by a long shot.

It’s not that bad, but I don’t think he merits #3. For a corner to go that high he needs to be able to erase all but about a half dozen receivers (who can’t be erased). Stingley has never shown that.
However, he is an excellent corner who certainly merited at least the 12th pick, so I don’t think they’ll be very disappointed.
