Very easy explanation , you have to be careful to not overthink it. The reason that LSU did not score is because LSU’s offense is VERY predictable. Most drives are as follows: run, run, pass and punt. Sometimes Bama would almost get the handoff because they knew the play.

Funny everyone has been griping that ensminger has been LSU’s problem on offense ever since the loss to Bama . Now everyone is saying that Clemson’s success in the game all stemmed from dominating in the trenches . Bing bong! Hello!

Clemson certainly has great talent. A better OL. A potential one in a generation QB prospect and a speedy RB who was LSU's second choice.
That said, there is a huge difference between scoring 44 points and scoring ZERO in 8 quarters under LSU's current OC/offensive regime.
Talent ABSOLUTELY matters. But if you can't see that LSU's current offensive approach is miles behind programs like Clemson or Oklahoma, then I don't know what to say.
If your OL is weak, then try to scheme around it the best you can. Don't try to execute long developing routes off of play action when you know your OL can't hold up. That's not to say LSU would have scored 44 vs. Bama, or even close to it. But as currently configuration, LSU could play 50 quarters vs. Bama's defense and not score 44 points.
This offensive HAS to become more innovative and modern. Clemson's rise to the top started the moment they innovated the offense (with Chad Morris). The conservative Saban we knew and loved here has changed with the times. The last guy was fired because he refused to change. If the current guy won't (by virtue of his OC choice), then either get someone who will or be happy with a ceiling of "good, but not championship level"

Clemson blocked very well
Agreed. Because they were well prepared and played as a unit even when backups came in due to injury.

Ensminger is part of the problem, but if you can't block the other guys, no scheme will score you a ton of points.
Scheme is the entire problem.
Canada made Alabama run sideline to sideline and defend the short strike and that opens up everything else downfield and slows the pass rush.
Canada has scored 10 more points than Ensminger has in 2 games. Captain Orgeron saw that donut on the scoreboard in 2016 and said, "I'll take more of that". "More of that" is exactly what he got in 2018 and it'll probably be "more of that" in 2019, as well

This year's Bama D was down for their standard, Tua and the O carried them this year.

The glorification of Tua has made me sick all year. The young man has had the luxury of sitting in a clean pocket and picking out his targets. Clemson proved that reading coverage and blitz packages plus throwing under pressure makes Tua very ordinary. These pundits who say that Tua will no doubt be starting on Sun are nuts. Tua got exposed last night.

Y’all make it sound like we didn’t cross the 50.
We lost. It wasn’t close. But we played them better than anybody else but Clemson.

LSU just needs a better oLine and dLine. Thing is, if Clemson had played with the SEC refs, there would have been a lot more holding calls on them. That game would have been closer.

We have nearly identical talent as Clemson has...

Clue: Clemson WRs catch passes with one hand that ours can't catch with both hands.
I'm not going to mention the disparity in running backs.

I want to see Patrick Surtain’s ring! Oh wait.... maybe in 2020 he’ll get one.

LSU's coaching staff is petrified of Saban, and those emotions trickle down to our players. I'm not sure it can be fixed. I don't see how Ed and Steve can survive another embarrassing display against Bama next season.

Which has to be coaching, right? Not like LSU hasn't recruited top tier talent at the position.

I noticed an egregious targeting call on Bama that was just overlooked. The announcers even mentioned it.

I picture this as Esmingers problems as they relate to bama

Y'all need to stop with this oline talent shite. Somebody posted it. The recruiting rankings for LSU and Clemson's offense offensive lines are virtually the identical.
I don't know why you all refuse to admit it and keep trying to blame the offensive lineman for LSU's offensive woes. There hasn't been a more perfect situation set up to display the ineptitude of an offensive coordinator then when he coaches one year and scores 0 points on Alabama, then the next year you get a new offense of coordinator and LSU scores 10 on Alabama, then the following year you rehire the guy from the previous year and he gets a 0 points on Alabama again.
When we're talking about the the top 10-15% of CFB talent, of which comprises the majority of Alabama, LSU and Clemson, there isn't nearly as much difference as some people want others to think. It's an easy narrative that deflects from real problems and blankets our head coach with an excuse for the Bama performances for years to come. Years.
Experience and coaching (scheme, player, strategy, etc.) are both more important than talent. I don't think people see the problem with requiring that your head coach has more talent on the field than someone else before he has a chance to win.
