Combined passing stats of the last four QBs, Mond, Fromm, Hurts and Lawrence.

63 of 203 for a completion % of 31%
768 total yards for an average of 192 yards per game
1 passing TD for an average of .25 per game
6 Ints averaging 1.25 per game.

These stats are sick!

Great numbers but that completion percentage isn’t right

This defense was only exposed by two quarterbacks.

Plumlee
&Burrow scoring too fast.

And was part of the reason we went 15 - o.

Best team ever.

Sorry. Got the stats off the SEC rant. Thought they were accurate. Will correct

We never trailed in a game between Auburn and Clemson. During that stretch we played Bama, Ole Miss, Arkansas, aTm, UGA and OU.

Not a minute, not a second.

:letthatsinkin:

ETA: Prior to Auburn, we trailed Florida for a whopping 3:42. And we shut out Mississippi State for 59:01.

Left off Oklahoma, since it's between Auburn and Clemson.

Fixed, so for those keeping score at home, that's Tua, Fromm and Hurts, plus all their NFL receivers.

But...LSU's shaky Defense was why Clemson was supposed to win

Nobody was going to stop us there year.

Something you baws better not tell ANY Bama fans - Bama (with Tua) was the second best team in 2019. Once we got past them, I knew that nobody could stop us if we were reasonably healthy on defense, the OL and Joe was upright.

I'd line that team we just saw up against bottom tier NFL teams and they would have a chance. The only reason Bama had a chance was the psychological weight of that streak.

Mond= garbage.

Need to leave him out. All defenses look great against him.

Plumlee

The defense was not exposed by Plumlee. He did nothing meaningful in that game. It was all garbage time. LSU was up 31-7 at halftime. The defense took the second half off because it was a laugher.

Ehlinger and Tua gave the defense problems. I know the games were well in hand but the D let both of those teams back in the game. Neither should’ve came down to an onside kick.

Agree with all but having a chance against an NFL team. Bengals by at least 40. Listen to any college player talk about the speed adjustment to the NFL.

One note is that all four of those QB's were preseason Hiesman candidates.

I think you forgot one.

Apologies.

But the sec rant as well as national pundits suggested it.

I am really addressing that when they say our defense wasn’t that good.

Burrow exposes us because we’d get a three and out, our offense would score in two minutes. We were back out there.

And the only reason I put plumlee out there is because there was no pucker factor, yet the goal in every game is to get Brennan in there. That didn’t happen.

Please don’t take this as a slight to LSU in any way.
