LSU baseball should be the equivalent to Alabama football. Maybe that’s a lot to ask but with our prestige and financial resources, there is NO reason to be playing like we have the past decade.

Unfortunately, it’s starting to look like we are the Nebraska of football or Indiana of basketball. And some of the sunshine pumpers that plague this fan base seem to be totally okay with that.

State of LSU baseball is over until we get a new coach. LSU has been handcuffed by Paul for a long time.

Louisiana.

What do I win?

It's not even worth addressing the rest of the post if you are dumb enough to compare college baseball to college football.

We were always going to get 27 outs tonight, no matter what.

It’s quite easy to compare. Maneri is literally Les Miles. Pulls in the top recruiting classes year in and year out, yet can’t develop jack.

SEC baseball overall has vastly improved facilities and recruiting over the last 15 years with many programs surpassing LSU. Currently the state of LSU Baseball is a middle to lower tier SEC program. Nationally it’s recognized only for it’s past history with Skip Bertman. It simply has not kept pace as a consistent powerhouse however difficult that may be in the current landscape.

the state of LSU baseball is the same as it was for LSU football in LM's last three years....LSU is not going to improve until the head coach is removed and new energy is instilled in the program. Hard pill to swalow, but PM must be replace and the sooner the better.
Come on Paul, for the sake of LSU....retire at the end of the year with some self respect. Don't go the way of LM.

Of course they're OK with it.

That's what they do.

ROCK BOTTOM standards of execution.

It doesn't really matter; when enough of the sane adult fan base has seen enough of Milesainieri, they will stop going to games. When that happens, the end will be near.....

This bullshite right here is why the program is where it’s at. Let’s look at the last decade of World Series teams. Outside your occasional outside team the teams have been the same. 85% of them. To bad LSU is one of the outliers in this statistic. In every sport you have the powers. Track, gym, football, soccer, so shove this lane arse weak arse excuse that baseball has changed. The only place it’s changed is LSU period.
