By blowing a 14 point lead and letting the best player on the team and consensus #1 pick go 5 minutes without taking a shot. Open your eyes man.

I'm not a huge JJ supporter but BS has to WANT the ball and be more aggressive. Too many times he passes when he should be a little more selfish.

OU couldn't guard Simmons under the bucket without fouling him. He had an opportunity to be dominant like Hield today but never took advantage of it.

Why isn't Simmons taking 20 shots a game?

Because his offensive game is actually very limited. No jumper and opponents just sag way off and prevent his penetration. All that's left is his post game, which can be effective but isn't thoroughly dominant.

The result: a good, but not great, player on the offensive end.

This is partially why we have 8 losses. He's so frickin soft and dainty at times. I wish I could stick put my foot in his arse somehow and get him going full tilt. The potential is right there!!!!!!!!!!! Jeez

Yes and that is where JJ has failed. 21 games in and still nothing. We don't get him the ball in the post enough. Everyone knows he doesn't shoot but he's always at the high post. JJ does not know how to run an offense. Everything is ISO and depending on the talent of the individual player.
