Jay Johnson will throw Jump in game 1.

He showed you last year when he pitched Skenes vs Tulane that he will always start his #1 first. If ever there was a time to save your ace it was last year in LSU’s regional.

Wofford is a good 3. Lsu would be smart to throw jump or holman, and most likely Jump

THEY have to beat US twice. They don't get the same luxury 10RC did.

You haven’t watched one inning of North Carolina baseball this year

Would prefer starting the lefty with how much Wofford runs.

The only thing you might consider would be Holman game one and Jump game two.

And that would be more matchup based, depending on how each teams lineups play out.

But you consider that for about five minutes and then you go Jump, Holman like you’ve done all year.

Ack vs Wofford

JUST STOP!

Jay ran the greatest pitcher in the history of the program out against the worst Tulane team I can remember last year. That should tell you that he is NEVER pitching “off” in game 1!

Wofford has very good offensive stats no matter what conference they played in. Top 10 in a lot of categories.

Marshall Toole- L
Brice Martinez- R
Dixon Black- R
Lucas Manning- R
Daniel Jackson- R
Jack Renwick- R
Tyler Hare- L
David Wiley- R
Andrew Mannelly- L

That’s Woffords top 9 and how they hit. If you want to make a case for Holman based on all those RHH, you could. I think Jay starts Jump though.

That’s fine. He has thrown 104 innings on the year. And by all metrics he is a damn good pitcher.

I’m in the minority - I agree with you.

Hurd or Ack game 1.

We started Skenes at home against Tulane last year. You think we're going to pitch off as a 2 seed on the road

What are you talking about? Why would we have to?

They almost beat Tennessee without Gage or Holman. No need to overthink this.

I trust Johnson’s decision.

That said, seems pretty clear to me we will be pitching Jump Game1 and Holman Game2.

It’s too damn bad that Hurd can’t be trusted to handle Wofford
