The hitting does suck but whats even more surprising is the pitching is also mostly bottom barrel bad, and that really should have been a STRENGTH of the team. So much talent, so deep at the pitching spot, yet we're watching a guy like Loer who was very dominant last year get destroyed every other appearance

With the basketball game and this, I'm probably too inebriated to be here at the moment, but this baseball team has about 6 positions in free agency right now, and about 15 players scared as frick to grab that bull by the horns.
I think Jay has given everybody a chance, but at some point, we either have to admit that some of these dudes are scared to be the man, or just dont have it

I'm guessing here but I'd bet if you looked at Tommy White or Dylan Crews last year there wasn't much difference between their stats with or without RISP. However if you looked at a guy like Jones I'd bet he's much better without because he could only hit fastballs (unless maybe the sample size was too small).
Just go look at averages of the best mlb players of all time, and their averages with risp, its about the same, there is a reason
