You're ignoring the fact that players get pitched differently with RISP. It is not the same thing. I'm guessing here but I'd bet if you looked at Tommy White or Dylan Crews last year there wasn't much difference between their stats with or without RISP. However if you looked at a guy like Jones I'd bet he's much better without because he could only hit fastballs (unless maybe the sample size was too small).
