Man, talk about "running before catching the ball" as in football. He was in the dugout before catching the ball.

The ball should have been caught but using two hands on a line drive where the ball is above your head a bit, makes it difficult to use two hands to catch the ball. It’s not like a pop up. He should have raised his glove more. These are the sort of things that happen when you’re a poor defensive team. Errors seems to be contagious.

Hate to see that for Stanfield, but that is one of the worst errors I've ever seen in a college baseball game.
