Heather Dinich is one of the most influential journalist covering college football, with exceptional connections on the CFP front. Very good reporter, and shouldn’t be called nasty names by someone in the LSU fan base because she did her job and voiced her opinion.

But, other than that, she's right.

Man I hate to break it to you but Marvin Harrison Jr is the real deal. If he was on LSU he would have been the #1 WR and we would have had 3 NFL WRs on our team this year. Prolly would have actually won every game. Lacy had so many key drops throughout the year until he finally learned how to catch.

Umm, I hate to break it to y'all - almost all media sources are pointing to Bo Nix. They don't want another SEC player getting the trophy this year.

Well then it really is a meaningless award.

Sorry, but if this is representative of Heather's analysis of the merits of each player's candidacy, she has no business expressing opinions on the Heisman. If she is simply saying Nix will win b/c others just look at the win/ loss column, then she has a point.

I would love to find a comparison of Nix and JD5 taking YAC out of the equation

ESPN had a blurb at the bottom of the screen that said 65% of Nix’s yards were YAC

No offense, but I have NEVER thought this when I have seen her report.

Nix has thrown 17 total passes for completion over 20 yards. Compare that to Jayden Daniels throwing 20 TD passes over 20 yards. Nix had rushed for less than 200 yards on the year before the last game. I’m not sure where he is now nor am I sure where Jayden’s total yards rushing are after A&M but do know that Daniels has rushed over 200 yards on several occasions in separate games. Seriously if they are truly analyzing this, it isn’t close.

I used to think she was pretty sharp when it came to fooball. She obviously doesn't have a clue.

So Caleb Williams?

I don’t think Caleb Williams is as good as Jayden Daniels. He might have more upside, because he was great at a younger age, but Daniels is the better player right now.

Most voters will probably take this into account. Most voters don't know a thing about football and think oh because the team is better then that means the player must be better.

Don't forget LSU played the #2 SOS, Oregon, not so much.

Nix ran from SEC competition… Daniels ran right smack into and over SEC competition…

She’s a shill for the PAC-12 & B10. No surprise.
