Not a snow cone stand but good try

It’s tRant so it makes sense to fire everyone.

Ignore their resumè, don’t factor in the talent level, the experts of tRant have spoken.

That is true but this is the 2nd time in 3 years he’s been here that the bullpen is the worst in the SEC. That is utterly unacceptable

There will be significant changes to JJs staff after this season. This is like the HC in football firing coordinator.

JJ fixes this or next time his neck is on the line.

The 2024 bullpen got better as the season went on though. Christian Little getting hurt was a legitimate setback for the whole bullpen.

. I'm not saying now is the time but nothing lasts forever.

It would be more dumb to blindly keep someone on longer because of past years result.

Our bullpen was not the worst in the sec in 2024. We had bullpen make all sec team.

Our bullpen led to our deep run in the sec tourney.

It hasn't even been 12 months since having the best pitching staff in country. I don't think people remember the jump Kade made from 2024 to 2025.

If we have another year like this year then we can fire him. 1 year after winning a National Title is dumb given his resume and accolades. In my opinion anyway.

If he’s the one picking the time to change them and who to go to, I could definitely see that.
I’ve never heard of this not being the case. Hence why the head coach goes to the mound and dictates which pitcher he wants (left or right arm raise)

don't give a shite about last year

So you don't think a coach with national titles has more of a leash than someone without it?
This happens everywhere in life.
A hard worker having an off week gets more a leash from the boss.
A great salesmans having an off month isn't as big of an issue as your worst salesman continuing to have low sales.

How about let's not turn on national title winning coaches after 1 down year.

Thank you. Until Jay has back to back down years then I’m not concerned.
I feel like there are some LSU fans that are rooting for him to fail. Possibly to justify their hatred.

I don’t think there is a program that wouldn’t take this down year for a recent Championship. Not one. Not in baseball.

You can be disappointed in the season, but I wouldn’t give up on Jay Johnson when he’s proven multiple times he can get things right again.

Who actually calls the pitches? There were a lot of questionable selections even Mississippi State announcers seemed perplexed.

It would be one thing if he just won one championship and it was years ago.

The guy has won 2 of the last 3 or so.

And as recent as last season.

If Jake Brown makes that catch in 2024 I actually believe LSU had the pitching to win all. That team was finally coming on strong with the younger bats.

Jump and Holman were elite.

Believe it or not, even if the pitch call is perfect not hitting the spot will end poorly.

It’s the same reason the shift never seems to work for us, our pitchers can’t hit spots.
